The DFC Tow/Haul Series Long Block is a heavy-duty engine designed for 2004.5-2005 Duramax-powered GM/Chevrolet 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. It's built for heavy hauling and daily driving, rated for up to 500 horsepower at the flywheel. It includes all the proven upgrades of DFC's Street Series, plus heavy-duty reinforcements for towing and performance. Features include Mahle HD pistons, Manton pushrods, a Stage 2 camshaft, and ARP or OptiTorque head studs. The engine is professionally machined to tight tolerances and assembled with Total Seal gapless piston rings. It's compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions and is backed by a 5-year, 160,000 km limited warranty.
