The DFC Diesel Remanufactured Street Series 6.6 LLY Long Block Crate Engine with Callies Crankshaft is designed as a high-quality replacement and upgrade for 2004.5-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY engines, particularly for work trucks, daily drivers, and diesel enthusiasts. It includes significant improvements over stock engines, addressing common weak points for enhanced reliability and performance. Key features include a forged Callies crankshaft for strength and durability, an upgraded EDM doweled oil pump shaft, and a Woodruff keyed camshaft to prevent slipping and oil pressure loss. All engines come standard with Total Seal gapless piston rings, and feature fully rebuilt and resurfaced cylinder heads with new guides, seats, valves, and stem seals. ARP or OptiTorque head studs are used for clamping, depending on availability. The block is machined to accept next oversize pistons, with all-new internals like pistons, rings, gaskets, and bearings. These engines are manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System facility, ensuring high quality standards. They are backed by a 5-year, 160,000 km (100,000 mi) warranty for standard use and a 1-year, 19,000 miles (commercial) warranty.
