The Eagle Specialty Products CRS6760C3D connecting rods are crafted for demanding engine applications, specifically for Big Block Mopar RB engines. These H-beam rods are constructed from SAE 4340 certified steel, utilizing a two-piece forging process that enhances strength. The rod caps are forged separately to ensure grain flow runs perpendicular to the load force, maximizing durability. Each rod undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat treatment, X-ray, sonic testing, and magnaflux inspection. The 100% machined and shot-peened surface provides stress relief and a superior finish. These rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves for accurate positioning and silicon bronze bushings for the floating pin design. They are also weight-matched to ensure a balanced rotating assembly, contributing to smoother engine operation and extended component life. With a 6.760-inch center-to-center length, these connecting rods are rated for up to 850 horsepower and 7,500 RPM. They are equipped with ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screws, rated at 160,000 psi tensile strength, and come with rod bolt lubrication and instructions. Note that these are not clearanced for stroker applications.
