Crucial fitment nuances apply: 2001 Mustang models produced after 06/01 utilize a 6-bolt main. Please note that Romeo-built engines feature 6-bolt cranks, while Windsor-built engines feature 8-bolt cranks. To verify compatibility, check the 8th character of the VIN: an "X" indicates a Windsor block, while a "W" indicates a Romeo block.
