6-Channel Class D Amplifier

The JL Audio XD600/6v2 is a 6-channel, full-range Class D amplifier that offers impressive power and flexibility in a compact design. It utilizes JL Audio's NexD™ ultra-high-speed switching technology, achieving over 80% efficiency which results in less heat and reduced strain on your vehicle's electrical system. This efficiency, combined with advanced microelectronic components, enables the use of a compact cast alloy heat sink and an Advanced Thermal Rollback System to prevent thermal shutdowns. This amplifier delivers 75W RMS x 6 into 4 ohms or 100W RMS x 6 into 2 ohms at 14.4V. It offers versatile setup options: run it as a six-channel amplifier for front and rear speakers, bridge four channels to power front speakers (75W x 2) and a subwoofer (200W x 2), or power two subwoofers (200W each) along with two satellite speakers (75W x 2). Studio-grade signal processing is included, featuring fully variable 12 dB/octave crossovers for each channel bank, configurable as high-pass or low-pass filters with cutoff frequencies adjustable from 50-500 Hz. The v2 Spec feature set includes automatic turn-on capabilities (signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) and dual-range differential-balanced inputs that accommodate a wide voltage range. For further control, an HD-RLC remote level control is available separately, allowing adjustment from the driver's seat. The amplifier has a black powder-coat finish with a gasketed, brushed aluminum control cover and requires a 50A fuse and 4 AWG power cable. Its small physical dimensions (5.2cm H x 26cm W x 18cm D) make it easy to install in tight spaces.
