The FiberwerX fenders are custom-fit body panels crafted from composite material, available in either fiberglass or carbon fiber. These fenders are specifically designed for the 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado, offering a significant 6-inch bulge and a 2-inch rise to accommodate larger tires and provide an aggressive stance. These fenders are compatible with all trim and motor packages for the 1500, 2500, 3500, and HD Silverado models. The manufacturer notes that fiberglass parts may have very small, pinpoint air pockets due to the manufacturing process, which are not visible externally. For carbon fiber parts, a "ghosted" edge effect is applied using black gel coat where modular mold sections meet, creating a seamless fade in the first 0.5" to 0.75" of the edges. Professional installation is recommended for these fenders. All necessary mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included with your purchase. Prior to painting, surface preparation and priming are recommended. For optimal results, a professional body shop installation is advised.
