The Fiberwerx CSF-102 fenders are designed to enhance the appearance and stance of your 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado. These composite fenders feature a significant 6-inch bulge and a 2-inch rise, providing an aggressive, custom look. Engineered for a precise fit, the CSF-102 is compatible with all 1500, 2500, 3500, and HD trim and motor packages. The fenders are available in either durable fiberglass or lightweight carbon fiber, each with its own unique lead time for manufacturing. Fiberwerx notes that their parts are made in modular molds, which can result in a small seam where molds join. This seam is sanded down on fiberglass parts but is handled with a 'ghost' effect using black gel coat on carbon fiber parts for a seamless fade on the edges. Due to the nature of composite manufacturing, minor pin-point sized air pockets may be present but are not externally visible. Professional installation is recommended for these fenders. While mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included, it is advised to test fit all components before final installation and consider professional body shop installation for optimal results. Surface preparation and primer are recommended before painting to ensure a flawless finish.
