The SuspensionMAXX MAXXLinks Custom, part number SMX-122660, is engineered as a heavy-duty upgrade for the sway bar end links on specific Dodge Ram trucks. Developed to provide superior durability and a longer service life compared to wear-prone stock components, these MAXXLinks replace the OEM ball-in-socket design with a robust and simple system. Constructed with high-strength 4140 alloy steel eyelets, electroplated with yellow zinc dichromate for corrosion resistance, and drawn over mandrel steel tubing with grade 8 bolts, these end links are built to withstand demanding conditions. They utilize thermoplastic/urethane bushings, which offer better performance and longevity than standard rubber bushings. The links are maintenance-free, will not squeak or rattle, and are 100% American-made. This specific model is designed for 2003-2005 4WD Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks that have been lifted 4 inches or more. The "non-Mega Cab" designation is a crucial fitment detail. The center-to-center measurement is 6 inches, with the extended length specifically compensating for the increased suspension height characteristic of lifted vehicles.
