The OTL Performance 6in Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is a premium upgrade for the 2023+ Toyota GR Corolla, designed to significantly improve engine cooling and performance. It features investment-casted end tanks, meticulously designed in Solidworks for optimal flow, and a 100% in-house designed core built to manage temperature and pressure effectively. Testing against the OEM intercooler on a bone stock GR Corolla showed substantial differences, with the OTL unit maintaining significantly lower cold-side temperatures (under 70°F compared to the OEM's 140°F) and even increasing power with consecutive pulls, unlike the stock unit which lost power. This translates to sustained peak performance during track days or spirited driving. Installation requires minimal trimming on the bumper and the hood latch support bracket, with an installation video available to guide the process. While the product is designed for the 2023+ Toyota GR Corolla, buyers should note that the source mentions that the piping might need to be ordered separately.
