6-Inch Heat Sleeve

Constructed from a durable fiberglass composite material, these sleeves prevent arching, unlike some metal shields. Each boot sleeve measures 1 inch in internal diameter and 6 inches in length, with a braided fiberglass construction. These boots offer protection against extreme heat, capable of withstanding up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit of direct continuous heat. They are also non-flammable and resist chemicals and water, offering robust protection in harsh engine bay environments. If your spark plug wires are in direct contact with the exhaust system, DEI recommends complementing the Protect-A-Boots with exhaust wrap in the affected area for maximum protection.
