6-Inch Lift Coil Spring Kit

The BDS Suspension coil spring kit is engineered to provide a 6-inch lift for your 1983-1997 Ford Ranger or Bronco II 4WD. These direct OE replacement coil springs are manufactured from high-tensile steel and are designed with precisely sized wire diameters to ensure maximum reliability and prevent premature coil bind. The springs are preset with a hydraulic stress treatment to reduce steel fatigue and prevent sagging. Additionally, they are shot peened to increase tensile strength and allow for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing spring life. The springs are available in either cold-wound chrome silicon 9254 or hot-wound 5160 variants for long-lasting performance. Key features include tapered and roll-pointed leafs that add flexibility and provide an even deflection rate, leading to increased wheel travel and a softer ride. Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps offer higher articulation by preventing the leafs from fanning out, allowing them to twist and flex.
