6-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS 6-inch lift kit is engineered for 2000-2006 Chevy Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD vehicles, aiming to enhance their stance, performance, and off-road capability. This system boasts a high-clearance design with a No Torsion Bar Drop System, where the torsion bars mount directly to the top of the lower A-arm, eliminating the need for a torsion bar cross-member drop and maximizing ground clearance. The kit accommodates up to 35-inch tires. Construction highlights include high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets with heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that correct steering geometry for stable handling and maintain Electronic Stability Control (ESC) compatibility. The front end also incorporates torsion bar relocation brackets, sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers. The rear lift is achieved through new coil springs, a track bar relocation bracket, sway bar links, and extended bump stops. Buyers can choose between shock options: NX2 Nitro Series shocks, FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, or brackets for vehicles equipped with Auto Ride. The Auto Ride option is required for vehicles with factory auto-ride and maintains the factory air shocks, but it will not fit models equipped with Magnetic Ride Control. Additionally, the Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty is included. Recommended tire and wheel combinations include 33x12.5 tires with 17x8 wheels (4.5-inch backspace), 34x12.5 tires with 18x9 wheels (5-inch backspace), or 35x12.5 tires with 20x9 wheels (5.75-inch backspace). Trimming may be required. Note that factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels may not fit due to tie rod interference, while factory 20-inch wheels may fit.
