6-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS226FS is a comprehensive 6-inch lift kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of your 2006-2007 Dodge RAM 1500 Mega Cab 4WD truck, offering clearance for tires up to 36 inches. This kit meticulously addresses suspension geometry. Up front, it includes gas-specific, progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs, longer lower control arms to correctly rotate the axle, and a relocation bracket for the upper control arm to preserve factory handling. Steering geometry is optimized with a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep the front axle centered through suspension travel. Key components include NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen-charged shocks, heavy-duty cast steel blocks and longer u-bolts for the rear, bump stops, sway bar links, and tubular short arms for improved strength, handling, and caster control. The Pro-Ride coil springs are manufactured from high-tensile steel for durability and a smooth, predictable ride. Important fitment notes: This kit is designed for 2006-2007 Dodge Ram 1500, 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 2500, and 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 3500 models. Customers must measure their rear axle tube; the kit accommodates both 3.5-inch and 4-inch axle sizes. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads may require u-bolt 4066. Rear lift options are not compatible with dually applications. Power Wagon applications require sway bar link kit #122401, resulting in a net 4-inch lift gain due to the factory ride height. If driveline vibration occurs, a transfer case drop kit or t-case index kit may be necessary.
