6-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 6-inch lift kit is engineered to transform your 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, providing an aggressive stance, enhanced performance, and increased capability with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. This kit leverages BDS's signature high-clearance design, utilizing 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and a robust front skid plate system for superior ground clearance and off-road protection. Up front, the lift kit corrects suspension and steering geometry with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, ensuring proper function and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) compatibility. It also includes multi-point differential relocation brackets to secure the front axle and improve CV angles, along with sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, and brake line brackets. In the rear, you have the option of a lift block kit that installs in place of the stock block, maintaining ride quality and load capacity, or full Glide-Ride leaf springs that eliminate the need for a block, reduce axle wrap, and provide a controlled feel while retaining factory payload ratings. Both rear lift options are paired with new U-bolts and brake line brackets. The kit can be configured with either NX2 Nitro Series shocks, featuring a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, or FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP gas shocks with an aluminum body and application-specific valving for improved ride and off-road performance. Important installation notes and fitment considerations apply. This system will not fit 2007 classic models. Installation of rear leaf springs requires removal of the fuel tank. Frame bracket modification is also required. For optimal wheel and tire fitment and to reduce trimming, 20-inch wheels with 5" to 5-3/4" backspacing are recommended. Traction bars will not fit regular cab short box models. Auxiliary Differential support bracket (part 121651) may be needed for AWD models, potentially requiring front driveline modification. This kit is incompatible with two-mode hybrid models featuring electronic power steering. Stock 20-inch wheels can only be reinstalled with factory tire size; factory 17 and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled.
