6-Inch Lift Kit w/ FOX 2.5 Coil-Overs

The BDS Suspension BDS647F is a comprehensive 6-inch lift kit designed to significantly enhance the capability, stance, and performance of 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD diesel trucks. This system features a long arm design, utilizing massive 1/4-inch steel frame-mounted brackets and oversized formed long arms. The long arms reduce caster change through wheel travel for a more controlled steering feel and are formed for maximum tire clearance. The front of the kit incorporates proprietary FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks, engineered for bolt-on performance, increased travel, and the ability to handle rough terrain while providing smooth on-road comfort. These coil-overs feature a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity. The front also includes all four control arms with mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm for steering correction, a track bar relocation bracket, bump stops, and sway bar links. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy-duty cast steel blocks for a 4-inch lift, paired with longer u-bolts and a set of FOX 2.0 Performance shocks to improve ride and off-road capability. The blocks are tapered for correct pinion angle, and the steel pin is offset to restore axle position. This kit allows for clearance of up to 37-inch tires on 17x9 wheels with 5 inches of backspace. Minor trimming and drilling are required for installation at the factory coil mounts, with weld-in reinforcements at the axle for added strength. A specific note for installation indicates that if the steering gear box has been changed and the sector shaft diameter measures between approximately 1-1/2 to 1-5/8 inches, part # BDS082404 is required. Additionally, exhaust modification is necessary for the dual rear shock kit on 6.7L Diesel models. Optional transfer case drop kits are available for automatic transmission models only.
