The BDS Suspension BDS1580FS is a 6-inch radius arm lift kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2017-2019 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty diesel trucks with 4WD. This comprehensive system provides clearance for tires up to 38 inches in diameter, allowing for significant tire upgrades. Up front, the kit incorporates diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs for optimal lift and ride quality, along with heavy-duty tubular replacement radius arms that allow for caster adjustment and OE-style rubber bushings for smooth operation. Steering correction is achieved through a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket, complemented by sway bar relocation hardware and brake line brackets. The kit is supplied with custom-tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series nitrogen-charged shocks for superior damping. To accommodate the lift height and maintain proper driveline angles, a transfer case indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember are included. The indexing ring is precision-built with ARP studs and clocks the transfer case to improve the front driveshaft's operating angle. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated 5-inch lift block, longer u-bolts, and additional brake line brackets, paired with matching FOX Performance shocks. Installation is designed to be straightforward with a 100% bolt-on process. However, several specific fitment notes and potential modifications are crucial for proper installation. If equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit (pn# 123402) may be required. Tires up to 38 x 13.50 may necessitate minor trimming. Buyers must verify their truck's factory rear leaf spring configuration (2-leaf main vs. 3-leaf main) and select the correct option. The transfer case indexing ring is incompatible with 6.2L vehicles equipped with the 6R100 transmission. For trucks with a factory rear sway bar, rear sway bar links (pn# 123808) must be added. The kit fits SRW (Single Rear Wheel) models only.
