Overview

The BDS Suspension BDS507H is a 6-inch suspension lift kit designed for Ford 1980-1983 F100 and 1980-1996 F150 4WD trucks. It provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires and includes Pro-Ride coil springs, axle pivot relocation brackets, radius arm drop brackets, and NX2 nitrogen-charged shocks for the front. The rear features a lift block and longer u-bolts, along with matching NX2 Nitro shocks.

The BDS Suspension BDS507H is a comprehensive 6-inch suspension lift kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of your Ford 1980-1983 F100 and 1980-1996 F150 4WD truck. This kit provides the necessary components to accommodate up to 35-inch tires, transforming your vehicle's appearance and off-road potential. It also includes axle pivot relocation brackets, radius arm drop brackets, a forged pitman arm for steering correction, and precision-tuned NX2 nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the lift is achieved using a high-strength lift block and longer u-bolts, complemented by a matching set of NX2 Nitro shocks. Installation of this kit is rated as difficult and is estimated to take 8 hours, requiring tools such as an air hammer, metric and standard socket wrench sets, a drill, and a hydraulic jack. A front end alignment is required post-installation, and alignment cams may also be necessary. Additionally, extended brake lines are required for all 4-6 inch lifts. It is important to note that this kit does not fit F150 models without power steering. Modifications may be required if the vehicle is equipped with a front anti-sway bar, as Ford produced three different styles between 1980 and 1996.
