6-Inch Lift Kit with Vertex 2.5 Front Shocks

The Rough Country 6-inch lift kit is engineered to provide Ram 1500 4WD owners with an aggressive stance and enhanced off-road capability while maintaining a smooth ride. This comprehensive kit includes precision-engineered driver and passenger-side knuckles, a laser-cut crossmember box kit for structural integrity, and application-specific lift components. The core of the suspension upgrade features Vertex 2.5 adjustable 8-step front shocks and high-performance V2 monotube rear dampers, paired with dual-rate front and rear coil springs designed for optimal handling and load support across various terrains. This kit is specifically designed for the 2012-2018 Ram 1500 and 19-24 Classic 4WD models. However, it is crucial to note several fitment exclusions. This lift kit does NOT fit 3.6L Pentastar V6 models due to strut geometry incompatibility. It is also incompatible with vehicles equipped with 4-corner air suspension, commonly found on Rebel and Limited models, as well as Warlock models that feature a factory 1-inch lift. Furthermore, it is NOT recommended for AWD models as it can lead to drivetrain vibrations caused by pinion angle issues. To accommodate the lift and maintain proper geometry, the installation requires 20-inch or larger wheels; it does NOT fit 18-inch or smaller wheel packages. For optimal geometry and clearance, Rough Country recommends tires in the 35–37 inch range.
