6-Inch Long Arm Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS636FS is a comprehensive 6-inch lift kit with a long arm conversion, meticulously engineered for 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD diesel trucks. This system is built to outperform, maximizing your truck's performance and capability on and off the road, while providing ample clearance for up to 37-inch tires. In the front, the kit includes diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs for a smooth and predictable ride, a front track bar relocation bracket to re-center the axle, a forged drop pitman arm to correct steering angles, and front sway bar correction components. The lift also incorporates BDS NX2 gas or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for improved ride quality and off-road performance. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy-duty cast iron blocks, which are tapered for correct pinion angle and feature a steel pin and offset hole to restore axle position. Longer u-bolts are included for secure mounting. The rear also receives a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks. Important considerations for installation include the potential need for a transfer case drop kit (kits 122602, 122605, or 122606 for automatic transmissions, or 122801/122802 for manual transmissions) if driveline vibrations occur. Exhaust modification is required for the dual rear shock kit (122009) on 6.7L Diesel models. If your truck's steering gear box has been changed and the sector shaft diameter measures 1-1/2 inch to 1-5/8 inch, you will need to add part BDS082404 to your kit. Measure your rear axle tube before ordering, as some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads may require u-bolt 4068.
