6-Inch Radius Arm Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS2107FS is a 6-inch radius arm lift kit engineered to significantly enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2013-2018 Ram 3500 gas-powered trucks. The kit provides ample clearance for up to 37-inch tires, allowing for larger, more aggressive off-road setups. Heavy-duty tubular radius arms replace the factory components, offering caster adjustment and an OE-style rubber bushing at the frame mount for durability and quiet operation. To correct steering geometry after lifting, a forged drop pitman arm is included, paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to maintain proper axle centering and phase through suspension travel. Precision-tuned NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen-charged shocks are also part of the front assembly, along with bump stops and brake line brackets. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block, heavy-duty air bag spacers to accommodate the factory air ride system, and longer u-bolts for secure mounting. A matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks provides consistent damping. Installation is rated as moderate with an estimated time of 6-8 hours and requires specific tools like a grinder, drill, pitman arm puller, and welder. Important considerations for installation include potential exhaust modifications for 6.4L gas models to clear the front driveshaft; 5.7L gas models may also require this. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for these modifications. For trucks with a two-piece rear driveshaft, a carrier bearing drop is necessary. Additionally, some vehicles might need a rear driveshaft spacer kit (part number 122007) to ensure adequate rear driveshaft engagement. Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) models should note that inner wheel clearance to the upper u-bolt plate may be tight with 5.5-6 inch kits.
