6-Inch Rear Lowering Kit

The DJM Suspension FK2599-6 is a 6" rear lowering kit designed for the 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, including 2007 Classic models. This comprehensive rear axle flip system provides a significant drop while incorporating essential components for maintaining proper geometry and suspension function. This kit features heavy-duty flip kit brackets that offer fully adjustable pinion angle, crucial for correcting driveline alignment after lowering the vehicle. To ensure adequate suspension travel and clearance, C-notch brackets are included, providing necessary room for the axle. The package also contains new U-bolts and spring plates, bump stops, and all the necessary installation hardware. Notably, a shock extender is provided for the passenger side only, accommodating the factory's staggered shock mounting configuration. It is important to note that shocks are not included with this kit; DJM recommends their Driver Side Shock 1800 and Passenger Side Shock 1900. The kit is designed to provide a true 6" rear drop and includes components such as flip brackets with adjustable pinion angle, C-notch brackets, new U-bolts and spring plates, bump stops, and a passenger side shock extender.
