6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The Fabtech K1005 is a comprehensive 6-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC K1500 4WD models, including Sierra 1500, Silverado 1500, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, and Yukon. This kit provides the necessary components to lift your vehicle and accommodate larger tires, specifically allowing for 35" diameter tires without the need for a body lift. Constructed with heavy-duty 1/4" thick plate steel, the crossmembers feature a high arch design to maximize ground clearance for off-road use. The kit includes one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles for the front suspension, while the rear lift is achieved using a 4" block and an add-a-leaf combination with extended length rear u-bolts. Key highlights of this kit include solid steel billet sway bar end links, tubular impact struts, and a 1/4" thick steel differential skid plate. It retains the factory steering centerlink and upper control arms in their stock location, simplifying installation and ensuring a factory-like alignment. Additionally, the kit offers increased front wheel caster for improved turning with oversized tires. No driveshaft change is required for Auto Trac models, and the installation process is noted as quick and "no-weld." This kit includes Fabtech Performance Front Shocks (FTS7299) and Performance Rear Shocks (FTS7266). The kit is manufactured in the USA and is currently available only in Fabtech Black.
