6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS115FS is engineered to provide a significant lift and improved performance for 1973-1976 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton pickup trucks and SUVs. This kit features BDS's exclusive Glide-Ride leaf springs, utilizing a triple-stage, multi-leaf progressive spring rate design. This innovative design ensures flexibility throughout the suspension cycle, providing a smooth ride whether the vehicle is loaded or unloaded, and offers full lift height with increased capacity. Installation is designed to be a 100% bolt-on process, simplifying the upgrade. The kit includes cast steel blocks and an add-a-leaf component to achieve a level stance from front to rear. A new steering arm is provided to maintain correct steering angles, contributing to improved handling characteristics. The kit comes standard with vehicle-specific valved NX2 Nitro shocks for enhanced control, with an option to upgrade to FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for maximum on- and off-road performance. This kit can accommodate up to 35-inch tires. Potential installation considerations include that an exhaust modification may be required to ensure clearance for the front driveshaft. Additionally, a sway bar drop link may be needed for proper installation. Note that this kit will not work with 56-inch rear springs.
