6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS1522FS is a 6-inch suspension lift system specifically engineered for 2015-2020 Ford F-150 2WD trucks. This kit is designed to enhance your truck's stance, performance, and capability, allowing for the fitment of up to 37-inch tires. Constructed with BDS's signature high-clearance design, this system prioritizes improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection. The front of the kit includes high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, top-mounted strut spacers, and a skid plate for added protection. Steering geometry is meticulously corrected at the new ride height using massive, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These knuckles, along with included sway bar relocation brackets, brake line brackets, and alignment cam bolts, provide a comprehensive front suspension lift. Key features include tapered and roll-pointed leaf springs for enhanced flexibility and a smoother ride, increased wheel travel, and higher articulation. The multi-leaf progressive design and anti-friction pads contribute to a smooth and quiet on-road experience. The kit includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for the rear. Installation is rated as difficult and is estimated to take 8-10 hours, requiring tools such as a cutoff tool and reciprocating saw. Important fitment notes specify that 18-inch or larger diameter wheels are required; stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled, while stock 20-inch wheels can be used with up to 305/60-20 tires. Wheels with 5-5.5 inches of backspacing should be tested for clearance with the BDS steering knuckle. Models equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft may require a carrier bearing drop shim kit (#122406). This system is compatible with Diesel models but will not fit HD models (7-lug). It is also FMVSS No.126 compliant.
