6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS1751H is a comprehensive 6-inch suspension lift kit engineered to significantly upgrade the 2009-2011 Dodge RAM 1500 4WD trucks. This system is designed to improve stance, performance, and overall capability, offering clearance for tires up to 37 inches in diameter. BDS utilizes its proven high-clearance design to enhance ground clearance, strength, and protection for off-road excursions, while meticulously correcting suspension and steering geometry to ensure excellent on-road handling characteristics. In the front, the kit incorporates top-mounted strut spacers, robust 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multi-piece differential relocation system, and heavy-duty skid plates for superior underbody protection. Steering geometry is precisely managed at the new ride height by CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, ensuring compatibility with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, and CV spacers are included to complete the front suspension upgrade. The rear of the kit features progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, upper control arm relocation brackets for correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to center the axle, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. For damping, the kit includes specially tuned NX2 Nitro series gas shocks, offering improved performance for both on- and off-road conditions. Important fitment notes include that these trucks can have a factory rake of 1 to 3 inches, and the rear lift height (3-inch or 5-inch coil springs) should be chosen based on this measurement to achieve a level stance. Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled, though stock 20-inch wheels can be used with factory tires. This kit is NOT recommended for AWD models or TRX models due to potential CV shaft vibration; for TRX models, a 4-inch lift system or replacement struts are suggested.
