6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit w/ FOX 2.5 Coil-Overs

The BDS Suspension BDS815F is a comprehensive 6-inch suspension lift kit engineered to significantly upgrade the capability and stance of 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD trucks. This kit features proprietary FOX 2.5 Coil-Over shocks, designed for bolt-on performance that increases travel and effectively absorbs rough terrain while maintaining on-road comfort. Up front, the system incorporates top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for robust off-road protection. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the new ride height and maintain Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system compatibility. The kit also includes sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, and brake line brackets. In the rear, the lift is achieved using heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks and longer u-bolts. Complementing the front, the rear suspension benefits from FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks, providing improved damper performance. The FOX 2.5 Coil-Overs boast a remote reservoir for increased fluid capacity, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. Installation is rated as moderate, with an estimated time of 6-8 hours, and requires specific tools including a strut compressor and potentially minor welding, along with frame bracket modification. The kit is designed to accommodate tires up to 35 inches, but stock wheels cannot be reinstalled, and 17-inch wheels are incompatible. Some 2014-15 models may have a slightly different net lift height compared to earlier years but will achieve the same final stance.
