The Pro Comp K1048B is a 6-inch suspension lift system designed for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC K1500 trucks, and 1988-1999 GM K1500 series SUVs. It features a true 6-inch drop subframe design that keeps front axleshaft operating angles flat. This lift allows for clearance of up to 35-inch tires on aftermarket wheels.

The Pro Comp K1048B Stage I Lift System provides a 6-inch suspension lift for 1988-1998 Chevrolet and GMC K1500 trucks and 1988-1999 GM K1500 series SUVs, including the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Yukon XL. This kit utilizes a true 6-inch drop subframe design, ensuring very flat front axleshaft operating angles. With a simple torsion bar adjustment, you can achieve up to approximately 7 inches of total front suspension lift while maintaining safe CV angles, ride, and handling. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for installation, such as drop brackets, crossmembers, compression struts, bump stops, torsion bar drop brackets, upper control arm (A-arm) mount brackets, steering correction components, and extended length brake lines. The rear lift is handled by a block and U-bolt kit with add-a-leafs. The Pro Comp K1048B also comes complete with four ProComp ES9000 Series shock absorbers, though shock boots are not included. This lift system is designed to accommodate up to 35x12.50 maximum tire size on wheels ranging from 15-20 inches in diameter and 8-9 inches in width, with a backspace of 3.25-5.0 inches. Important fitment notes specify that this lift kit is exclusively for 4-wheel drive models equipped with the torsion bar front suspension. While the ES9000 shocks are included, Pro Comp offers an upgrade option to their MX-6 shocks.
