6-Inch Suspension System

The Fabtech K1024 Basic Lift System is engineered to provide a 6-inch lift for 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models. This system utilizes industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology to achieve increased ride height, allowing for the clearance of up to 35-inch tall tires while maintaining excellent ride quality and vehicle stability. Heavy-duty lower control arm crossmembers are reinforced with cross tubes and tubular frame struts to effectively distribute front suspension impact loads, and a 1/4" thick steel skid plate protects the front differential. This basic system includes a front coilover spacer setup that utilizes the factory coilover assemblies for a stock-like ride and is fully compatible with factory Stabilitrak® safety functions, requiring no vehicle computer reprogramming. Key components include 1/4" thick high-arched crossmembers, ductile iron extended-length steering knuckles, a front differential skid plate, impact struts, and a rear add-a-leaf system with a block and U-bolt kit. The system also includes Fabtech Performance Rear Shocks, featuring twin-tube hydraulic construction with high-velocity 9-stage valving and a closed-cell foam insert to reduce shock fade.
