6" Lift Kit with Off-Road Struts

The BDS Suspension 6" Suspension Lift Kit System is engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2009-2013 Ford F-150 4WD pickup trucks. This comprehensive system includes CNC machined steering knuckles to correct steering geometry at the increased ride height. High-clearance, one-piece front and rear crossmembers are constructed from steel to provide rigidity and maximize ground clearance. For undercarriage protection, a 1/4" thick steel differential skid plate is integrated into the design. Custom-tuned, off-road struts are included to manage the demands of oversized tires while preserving a comfortable OE ride quality. The rear of the vehicle is elevated using a new block, complemented by a new offset spring plate designed to center the rear axle and provide ample clearance for up to 37-inch tires. The estimated installation time is 8-10 hours, with a difficulty level rated at 4 out of 5. Important considerations for installation include the requirement of a strut compressor and frame bracket modification with welding. Wheel fitment is critical: 18" or larger diameter wheels are required, and stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20" wheels can be used with tires up to a 305/60-20 size. Specific tire and wheel combinations, such as 37" x 12.50" tires with 18" x 9" wheels with 5" backspacing, are recommended, and trimming may be necessary. Models with a 2-piece rear driveshaft may require the BDS Carrier Bearing Drop Kit (#123402). Models equipped with AWD/Auto 4WD may need a front driveshaft replacement. An E-brake bracket is required for factory power steps (#123018). This kit is FMVSS No. 126 compliant, ensuring it meets federal electronic stability control standards.
