The Ilmberger bodywork kit is a 6-piece carbon component designed for the BMW M 1000 RR 2025-. It is made from carbon prepreg material and features a protective clear plastic coating for enhanced durability and scratch resistance.

Manufactured by Ilmberger Carbon, this kit focuses on significant weight savings, often achieving around a 70% reduction compared to original parts, while also enhancing rigidity and visual appeal. Manufactured using the latest autoclave guidelines, the components are made entirely from prepreg material and finished with a robust clear plastic coating. This coating not only provides superior protection against environmental influences, scratches, and wear but also accentuates the three-dimensional depth of the carbon weave. This racing-focused kit is intended for use exclusively with other parts from the carbon racing series and is not compatible with OEM fairing components. For proper installation and function, it requires a racing exhaust system, a racing dashboard and fairing carrier, and an additional bracket kit. While the OEM air intake duct can be used, Ilmberger also offers dedicated carbon or fiberglass air intakes as separate accessories. The kit includes the upper fairing, lower fairing, right and left side fairings, two winglets, 20 quick-release fasteners, and two closing plugs for the lower part. Note that the fairing may require slight adjustment if used with a large kit radiator, and decals are not included.
