6-Piston 304mm Big Brake Kit w/ Slotted Rotors

Integrating new brake technology into the kit's design reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. This specific kit features a 6-piston lightweight aluminum caliper with differential bore configuration, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 5 lbs. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing expansion under pressure and improving pedal feel and response. The kit utilizes a 304mm (12-inch) 2-piece floating disc assembly with a unique slot design. The 2-piece rotor construction reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while the floating design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use, as they expel gas and debris faster than conventional designs and provide increased bite over stock. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment. Ksport offers two pad options: the standard SC5 Street Pads (NAOC ceramic) designed for optimal performance between 194°F - 1022°F, offering reduced dust and noise. Optional RC1 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F - 1472°F and not recommended for street use due to their high working temperature. This kit is compatible with the Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006-2011 models and fits 2WD vehicles only.
