6-Piston Big Brake Kit

This kit is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, minimizing installation complexity. It features a lightweight, one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. This caliper utilizes an opposed piston design, which significantly enhances brake pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to stock units. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit incorporates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade, a common issue during demanding driving conditions like track use. The design ensures continuous cooling and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications experiencing extreme heat, a floating disc option is available to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler, slotted rotors like those in this kit are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving. The stainless-steel brake lines included in the kit are crucial for preventing expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent brake feel and performance.
