It also features standard full-floating rotors, which enhance self-centering within the caliper for improved performance and reduced drag. Construction is robust, with calipers made from a one-piece solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight design, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. The aluminum pistons within the calipers offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation, even under demanding conditions. Additionally, these kits come standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use while reducing dust, noise, and rotor wear. Further enhancing performance and aesthetics, the Supercomp system features a floating two-piece rotor design. The outer section of the rotor can shift slightly, aiding in self-centering for lower brake drag and more even pad application. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily driving due to better cooling. Stainless steel braided brake lines are also included, which prevent line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit is specifically designed for two-wheel drive vehicles only and requires a minimum wheel size of 20 inches.
