Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cools the brake pad surface. It features an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes stainless-steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure and a 2-piece disc assembly that reduces rotating and unsprung weight.

The rotor features a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and debris more effectively. Ksport utilizes heat-treated and balanced rotors for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving.

This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and integrated protection grooves. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking force. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. Ksport's unique rotor slot design effectively reduces braking noise and accelerates the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced to ensure peak performance.
