6-Piston Big Brake Kit

This kit features a lightweight, 8-piston caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, designed with differential bore configuration for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. The caliper houses aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel pad wear plates, complemented by D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines that prevent line expansion under pressure for a more responsive pedal feel. This big brake system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, with 13-inch diameter rotors featuring a unique slot design. The slotted rotors are recommended for track use, as they reduce braking noise and expel gas and debris more effectively than conventional designs, while the two-piece construction significantly reduces rotating and unsprung weight compared to OEM rotors. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are also an option, which tend to run cooler. The kit also includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, ensuring a direct bolt-on fit to your OEM caliper bracket locations. Ksport includes their SC5 Street Pads as standard equipment, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering reduced dust and noise. Optional RC1 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperature. The kit is backed by a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
