This kit features robust 6-piston calipers, precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for exceptional strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and provides consistent performance across both track and daily driving conditions. Ksport offers customization options for the rotors, including slotted or cross-drilled designs, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily drivers due to their cooler operating temperatures. Additionally, caliper colors can be customized, with standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, and premium finishes available. Included in the kit are SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads, which are designed to balance braking performance with reduced dust (50% less than race pads) and noise, while offering optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F. The D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This Procomp Big Brake Kit is built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
