This kit integrates advanced brake technology, featuring a powerful 6-piston caliper designed for enhanced performance. The calipers are forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, ensuring both lightweight construction and efficient heat dissipation. They incorporate large pistons for increased braking force, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, measuring 380mm in diameter and 32mm in width. This floating design helps to mitigate thermal stress, preventing disc warping and cupping under intense heat. The unique slot design on the rotors assists in reducing braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, preferred for track applications. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. For dedicated track use, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an option. The kit also features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper location and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response.
