The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management and reliable operation, and the opposed piston design increases caliper rigidity and improves pad wear compared to OEM components. This specific kit includes 6-piston front calipers with 304mm two-piece rotors. The kit utilizes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing for easy integration with your vehicle's existing caliper bracket locations. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and effective, fade-free braking performance, suitable for both track and street use. Included are SC5 Street Pads, designed to provide optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to dedicated race pads. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, replacing stock rubber lines to eliminate expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled or slotted rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for more frequent track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
