The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents an extreme advancement in stopping power, engineered as a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade. This kit surpasses the Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, coupled with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion, while aluminum pistons enhance heat tolerance. Construction highlights include lightweight forged one-piece calipers made from aerospace-quality aluminum, providing uniform thickness and strength. CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets are included to facilitate a direct bolt-up to OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more even application. Included are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use with reduced brake dust and noise. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operating temperatures, and slotted for track-focused vehicles.
