6-Piston Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated, bolt-on solution for superior stopping power, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. This construction eliminates weak spots and ensures consistent caliper operation free from corrosion. The aluminum pistons are protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, promoting smooth operation and preventing drag. The kit utilizes two-piece rotors, which are significantly lighter than OEM one-piece rotors, reducing rotational mass for quicker stopping and improved brake response. The design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping from heat buildup. Ksport recommends cross-drilled rotors for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. Standard kit contents include: two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all required mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual. Please note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, requiring 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. This kit is designed for the Volvo 850 Turbo (1991-1997) FWD models.
