6-Piston Big Brake Kit

Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the 1-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation. The opposed piston caliper design markedly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. This specific kit includes 6-piston calipers with 304mm two-piece rotors, offering a substantial upgrade over stock braking systems. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and fade-free performance while maintaining comfortable operation for daily driving. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated to provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days, with reduced dust and noise compared to dedicated race pads. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. To further enhance braking response and pedal feel, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal. Customization is a key feature, with options for both the rotors (slotted or cross-drilled) and caliper finishes (standard colors like red and black, or premium high-polish options). The kit utilizes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper bracket locations, facilitating easier installation with minimal tools required for most applications. This kit is specifically designed for the 1991-1997 Acura NSX.
