Description

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade to your vehicle's stopping performance. This kit features a 6-piston ProComp caliper in red, paired with 286mm (11-inch) drilled rotors. The caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight, and mitigates thermal stresses that can warp the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and debris, while drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles. This specific kit is application-specific. This kit is designed for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza GC8 chassis, specifically models with the 1.8L 1781CC H4 GAS SOHC Naturally Aspirated engine.
