The calipers are constructed from forged 6061-T6 aerospace grade alloy with a radial mount design for enhanced stiffness and reduced flex. They feature dual seals with high-temperature resistant oil rings and dust scrapers, along with stainless steel bleed screws and brake lines that are DOT/ADR approved and manufactured in the UK. The rotors are a 2-piece floating design utilizing a 6061-T6 aerospace grade alloy hat that is fully balanced. The rotor rings are made from FC30 cast iron and come with an anti-corrosion coating. Customers can choose between drilled, slotted, or drilled and slotted rotor rings at no extra cost, with specific recommendations for street or track use. For rotors 330mm and larger, full-floating technology with an anti-rattle system is employed to minimize warping, drag, and wear, ensuring the rotor ring centers itself with the pads. Smaller rotors use a semi-floating design with standard bolts. Ceika guarantees the fitment of their big brake kits as bolt-on for your vehicle and will provide replacement parts free of charge if anything does not fit. However, CEIKA is not responsible for wheel fitment, as clearance issues with wheel spokes can occur when fitting larger brakes. The compatibility of wheels is the customer's responsibility, as every car and wheel combination is unique. It is advised to check with the provided brake templates before ordering to ensure proper fitment or to identify kits that may fit without spacers. The kit is compatible with OEM ABS, traction control, and master cylinder systems, retaining the original balance and bias. Available rotor sizes vary significantly for front and rear applications, and specific parking brake types (Drum in Disc) are required for rear kits. Customers can select from four different brake pad compounds: Street, Sport, Race, and Pro Race, each tailored for different driving conditions and performance requirements.
