6-Piston Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

This kit surpasses the Procomp model with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, enhanced piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that promote self-centering within the caliper for reduced drag and improved performance. Each caliper is precision CNC machined from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, resulting in a lightweight, incredibly strong, and corrosion-resistant component. Aluminum pistons are standard, offering superior heat resistance and unwavering operation under demanding conditions. The kit incorporates a two-piece rotor design, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. For customization and performance tuning, Ksport offers both slotted and cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their superior gas and debris expulsion capabilities. Standard on this kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure. This results in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The Supercomp kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Each kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
