Key components of this kit include lightweight forged one-piece calipers, constructed from a solid billet of aerospace quality aluminum for uniform thickness and strength. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, allow the larger calipers to bolt directly into the OEM caliper bracket locations. The floating two-piece rotor design is standard, featuring an outer section that allows for slight movement, which reduces brake drag and improves performance through more even application. This Supercomp kit includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F.
