It also includes pad tension blocks, precision-machined from billet aluminum with a heat-treated stainless steel spring, which subtly tension the top of the brake pad to decrease movement within the caliper. Brake pads for the CP9449 caliper are available in a widely adopted shape, ensuring compatibility with numerous racing compounds. Specifically, the required pad thickness is 16.75-17.0mm, and the radial depth is D42mm, utilizing the AP Racing CP3215D42 shape.
