6-Piston Forged Caliper Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, enhancing brake performance under sustained high-heat conditions. This sophisticated bolt-on upgrade features a lightweight forged one-piece caliper constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, eliminating weak spots found in cast or welded calipers. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The Procomp Big Brake system utilizes a two-piece rotor design, common in high-performance applications, offering reduced weight and fade-free performance. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker brake response. The outer rotor section expands and contracts independently, minimizing warping due to heat buildup. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they run cooler. Slotted rotors, recommended for track use, feature grooves to manage heat, dust, and gases. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads as standard, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers come standard in Ksport Orange but can be customized with various painted and high-polish finishes. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit is made to order and non-refundable.
