The kit incorporates larger calipers and discs, manufactured from stronger, lighter materials to increase thermal capacity and brake torque, making them ideal for high-performance street and track applications. All Rotora Brake Systems are fully compatible with ABS and traction control systems, and are designed as direct bolt-on components for production vehicles with minimal modifications. The calipers are forged from 2024-T6 aluminum, featuring sequentially sized piston bores specifically engineered for each vehicle application to minimize pad taper wear and prolong pad life. The two-piece rotors are constructed with a billet 6061-T6 forged aluminum hat to reduce heat-related stress and unsprung weight, and are coated with anti-corrosion zinc plating. Anti-rattle float drive hardware is included to allow for disc expansion and contraction under extreme use. The caliper brackets, made from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, further reduce unsprung weight. This kit comes standard with Rotora's H2 high-ceramic brake pads, offering solid brake fade resistance and excellent controllability for all driving styles. Important considerations for this kit include a potential 60-90 day lead time as these kits are often made to order. Special order color options are available but are non-cancellable. Notably, WRX models equipped with factory big brake kits cannot use this specific Rotora kit due to differences in the knuckle design between Brembo and steel caliper systems. For use with stock wheels, Rotora recommends a 2mm spacer for the front 6-piston calipers, while the rear fits without spacers.
