6-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the renowned Procomp system by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. This design minimizes brake drag and maximizes performance through more consistent pad application. Each caliper in the Supercomp kit is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. The internal aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance, maintaining optimal performance even under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight axial and radial movement, which improves self-centering and reduces drag, further boosting braking efficiency. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which provide excellent braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads are formulated to significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and decrease rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures ranging from 194°F to 1022°F. The kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate the expansion common in rubber lines under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can further customize their Big Brake Kit by choosing between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track time, while Cross Drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating characteristics.
