6-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

Integrating advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and continuously cools the brake pads during operation. At the core of this system are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp models. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to their size, the SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. The kit incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or causing surface cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for more frequent track use. This kit includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, operating efficiently between 194°F – 1022°F. They offer a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, with an average coefficient of friction between .46 and .53. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available, made from carbon metallic for extreme track conditions, but are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature requirement (482°F – 1472°F).
